Middlebury Frameshop & Gallery

About

Middlebury Frameshop & Gallery opened on July 13th 2016 by two women, Pat and Heidi, with over 40 years of professional custom framing experience. Heidi even opened a frame shop in New York City and worked with high profile customers; such as John Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono. They opened the shop in its current location as a continuation of the iconic Ben Franklin that unfortunately closed that same year in Downtown Middlebury. In 2022, they hired Samir Kadric, as a framer, but Heidi’s health kept declining, eventually leading to her passing on May 24th, 2023, forcing them to find someone new to run the shop. The desicion was made and the shop was sold to Samir Kadric and his partner LaTina Webber on March 2nd 2023. They’re eager to modernize the shop with their knowledge of the art industry.

At Middlebury Frameshop & Gallery we strive to provide museum quality work that’s preserved for a lifetime. Furthermore, our wide range of choices allows our customers to tailor their project that will satisfy their unique budget and timeline. We are equally dedicated to providing a space for young local artist to have an opportunity to show/sell their work. Sometime soon, we will have workshops available to teach artists, of all ages, to frame and learn the value to preserving their own work. Keep an eye open for this opportunity! Another thing, to keep an eye out for is some basic printing services, we are currently working out the kinks to allow ourselves and customers to print work out! Big things are coming to Middlebury, we hope to see you soon!
